The photograph shows the 17th century interior of the church, a work by Carlo Maderno, and a glimpse of the dome, designed by Orazio Torriani. The high altar is by G.P. Morandi. To the left we see the second chapel on the left hand, dedicated to the blessed Virgin Mary. A medieval icon embellish the altar of the chapel. Above the arch of the chapel a fresco depicts the Annunciation.
